Policies for Families: Is there a best practice?

Experts from research, policy, and NGOs will discuss in a confidential atmosphere the most recent findings of the project FamiliesAndSocieties.

The following questions will be addressed:

  • What are the current trends in social policies related to families in Europe?
  • Are there best practices to be followed by countries?
  • What are the most important areas for future policy interventions?

Speakers and panellists will focus on crucial policy issues related to youth, gender equality and childcare arrangements, and will explore the role of policies with respect to family and life-course developments.
