Basel, Rotterdam, and Stockholm Conventions COPs
Chlorpyrifos is a widely used pesticide that could be eliminated by the Stockholm Convention. Still, several countries called for exemptions to allow limited use for some crops. The Basel Convention prioritized work on the safe management of some waste streams, such as lithium batteries.
